FAQ
Vinyl
How long does a vinyl wrap last?
If taken care of, wraps typically last 3-5 years or even longer.
Is vinyl safe for my paint?
Yes. We only work with the best vinyl manufacturers in the industry to provide material that we can guarantee is safe for your paint. We also use products that make removal easy without leaving much, if any, adhesive behind. Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee that repainted panels will not be affected by vinyl. A poor-quality paint job may result in the vinyl peeling up paint during removal.
Do you offer a warranty on wraps?
Yes, we offer a one-year warranty on our vinyl. This mainly covers color fading and peeling. Though we don’t believe this will ever happen, we want to make sure our clients are covered. However, please keep in mind this does not cover scrapes, tears, staining, or replacement of panel due to damage to the vehicle.
What’s the best way to wash my wrap?
Soap and water! Unlike matte paint, you can wash your vinyl as you normally would, just like any other paint. Check out our Ceramic Coating options to make washing even easier!
How long will it take to wrap a car?
Depending on the vehicle, it may take 4-6 business days to complete a wrap from start to finish. Though this sounds like a longer time compared to some other companies, quality is our number one priority. We firmly believe in giving our installers the necessary time they need to utilize their skills resulting in a perfect finish with unparalleled attention to detail.
Can you give me a wrap quote over the phone?
Unfortunately, we are unable to give wrap quotes over the phone. The prices listed on our website are rough estimates. Because every vehicle is different, it is difficult to assess a vehicle without seeing it in person first. Stop by our shop during business hours or shoot us an email to book an appointment so we can get you a quote ASAP!
Paint Protection Film
Does my vehicle need PPF?
PPF protects your vehicle from rock chips, swirl marks, scratches, and color fading. We recommend a paint correction on your vehicle before PPF installation. A paint correction will help to remove scratches and swirl marks from the vehicle’s paint, bringing its paint back to life - sometimes even better than factory.
How long does PPF last?
XPEL Paint Protection Film comes with a 10 year warranty against blistering, cracking, staining, and yellowing. Though PPF protects your vehicle from minor rock chips, warranty does not cover hits from large objects that may puncture the film or cause damage to the paint.
Will a paint correction prior to PPF installation extend the vehicle’s delivery date?
Yes. Depending the level of paint correction necessary to remove all scratches and swirls from your paint, the delivery date can be extended anywhere from a couple of days to a week.
Paint Correction
I’m ordering a new car and the dealer wants to prepare it for delivery. Should I let them?
Dealers often use fillers to shine a car before delivery to the customer. Though this looks great at first, as it begins to fade, you will start to see all of the prior imperfections that were hiding underneath. Most new car paint jobs do not come perfect from the factory. Let us start you off on the right foot from day one!
Ceramic Coating
How long does ceramic coating last?
With proper maintenance, quality ceramic coating can last up to 9 years. Proper care plays a major role in ceramic coating. Improper washing techniques can significantly reduce the life of your ceramic coating.
