Cleaning & Maintenance

We always recommend a thorough handwash with quality detailing products. Cheap shampoos and improper washing techniques can often damage paint and vinyl while breaking down coatings meant to protect your vehicle. If your vehicle is ceramic coated, always be sure to use ceramic safe shampoos to preserve the life of your coating and allow the hydrophobic properties to thrive. Washing is recommended, at minimum, once every two weeks.

Lastly, we never recommend drive-thru car washes, even the touchless ones. Drive-thru car washes often use harsh chemicals in their soaps which break down coatings and can eat through vinyl. Automated brushes, cleaned or not, can cause scratches or worse to paint and vinyl.

There’s an array of quality detailing products on the market, but our first recommendation is always TurboWax. We’ve tested and sorted through all the big brand products and have found TurboWax to be the best bang for your buck.
